Sølvtrans has implemented and maintains a Quality and Environmental Management System which fullfils the requirements of the ISO-9001 and ISO-14001 standards for well-boat transporting of live fish in Scotland and Norway. The company follow the ISM Code (International Safety Management), ISPS Code (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code) and MLC (Maritime Labour Convention). Sølvtrans is IMS (Integrated Management system) certified by Bureu Veritas.
The company continuously work to improve its management system. This also includes procedures for risk management.
All the company’s vessels follow the International Safety Management Code (ISM), as well as the International Ship & Port Facility Code (ISPS), where relevant.
