The vessels are currently being equipped at Myklebust Mechanical Yard and Aas Mechanical Yard, and are scheduled for delivery in the near future. With the latest technological advancements, state of the art machinery and comfortable accommodations, Sølvtrans vessels prove to be highly attractive workplaces.

Christer Larsen, Sølvtrans Crew Manager

“We have a high number of applicants for our vacancies in general, and we are developing the crewing department both technologically and structural to ensure that we have a thorough and reliable recruitment process”, says Crew Manager Christer Larsen. “Recruiting the right people for our vessels is our number one priority. Great people produce great results!”

Ronja Nærøysund and Ronja Princess are the first of seven new vessels being delivered in 2022. With the fleet expanding at such a rapid pace, a total of 300 new sailors in all positions will be hired in the upcoming months.

Christer adds: You can always see and apply for our current vacancies on our job-portal, or follow our Facebook page “Sølvtrans Crewing” to get news about vacant positions. We will also put up positions for our upcoming newbuilds as we approach delivery dates.
